After spending 12 years working in a combination of residential, commercial, large mining and infrastructure projects, Christian found that schedule development and management was performed inefficiently across the board. Improving on these processes could greatly assist in project delivery not only in terms of time but also quality, cost and risk – so he founded Consilium.

Christian’s passion for the integration of cost, schedule and resourcing associated with projects both small and large scale has resulted in significant improvements not only at a project level but across portfolios and businesses too. Christian draws on his deep experience in project management, project supervision and training groups in the project management body of knowledge to lead Consilium. He is proficient in using and training others in the use of various project and portfolio management tools, including but not limited to Primavera, MS Project, PPM, Planview and 1sap.

Christian’s project experience is backed by a Bachelors degree in Construction Management and Economics as well as Diplomas in Building and Builders Registration.

Shane has over fifteen years of experience within civil, infrastructure, mining, energy, heavy engineering & construction industries. Having worked in a variety of roles, from Engineering, Superintendent, Construction Manager, Project Manager, Bid Manager and Operations Manager, Shane has a deep understanding of the requirements to deliver projects across each stage of the project life cycle.

Degree qualified Civil Engineer with MIEA and MIEI professional memberships.

Shane has led various major & minor project portfolios across Australia with full P&L responsibility. Projects have consisted of green field and brown field projects as well as maintenance framework agreements for a variety of blue chip companies and minor companies. Experience in a variety of mixed contracting models has given Shane a keen eye for commercial awareness and risk mitigation.

A strong believer in people development, Shane has experience in developing personnel from graduates and blue collar personnel into industry leaders.

Tom Morrisey

Project Superintendent

Tommy is a highly dedicated and motivated Construction Specialist, with a willingness and ability to learn and adapt to change quickly and efficiently. He has over 17 years of experience in the Maintenance and Construction industry, and has worked in different companies in Australia and Ireland, as well as built up a vast array of knowledge, which he uses on a daily basis to ensure all works are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

Tommy has a range of capabilities and knowledge including, but not limited to, welding procedures, Australian standards and specifications, management of materials, integration with multiple trades and excellent communication with colleagues and clients.

Rohan Biglin

Lead Project Planner

Rohan completed his Masters in Architecture, and is currently completing his Masters in Project Management whilst maintaining a fulltime workload at Consilium Solutions.

His knowledge of design as well as construction method, greatly assists him in the effective development of fit for purpose programs across a variety of industries. Whilst developing programs, he has also been able to successfully manage a number of significant maintenance projects.

His proactive and methodical approach to problem solving, ensures all aspects of the project are considered from both a program and project management perspective.

Russel White

Project Superintendent

With close to 30 years’ experience in the mining industry, Russell has forged his career as a proven project delivery expert, as both a project manager, and a project engineer, founded from hands-on experience as a highly skilled boilermaker.

Now, as a Project Superintendent, he portrays strong leadership skills, as well as critical thinking, and technical proficiency, ensuring successful outcomes on every project he undertakes from a budget, timeframe, safety, and efficiency perspective.

A key showcase of this was his response to the fire at BHP’s Mt. Whaleback Iron Ore processing facility. Russell led the recovery effort in which they were able to run the plant up in a mere 14 weeks, which was a significant outcome for the project and the operation.

Carlos Bontes

Specialist Project Planner

Carlos graduated as a Civil Engineer from University of Santiago, Chile back in 2015. Over these past 8 years, he has gained core experience in project planning and control, estimation and trade off analysis.

He is competent leading constructability reviews and data analysis for the mining industry, mainly related to roads and access, pipelines and maintenance and improvements of buildings.

As a team-player with a strong focus on results and innovation, Carlos is a great addition to any project he works for.

Jahangeer Khan

Project Planner

Jahan is an experienced planner, who portrays an excellent attitude, hunger for work, and is always looking for better and smarter ways of doing things.

His background is associated with Civil Engineering, and has worked across brownfields shutdown environments, non-process infrastructure in the Pilbara to commercial multi-story developments.

Jahan is highly proficient in both Primavera and MS Project, with an excellent capability integrating P6 and Power BI Dashboards.

Shahzada Burhan

Project Planner

Meet Shahzada, or as he likes to be called, Shaz. He is a highly motivated, diligent, and inquisitive construction planning professional. Shaz is always looking at methods of simplifying inefficient processes, with expertise in conveying the scope of works and appropriate construction sequencing, through schedule.

Additional to advanced skills navigating through Primavera, MS Project, and Excel, Shaz has advanced knowledge in the development of Power BI dashboards to effectively report project progress to a variety of stakeholders.

Patrick O'Connor

Project Engineer

Pa is a highly disciplined Project Engineer with work experience both in the manufacturing and construction sectors, who portrays an extremely positive and proactive attitude.

He aims towards following procedures in a right-first-time basis and collaborative environment, as he simultaneously seeks to develop new skills that will complement those gained at work and during his studies at Cork Institute of Technology.

Pa is a hard-working and life-long learner, with prime written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, allowing him to seamlessly transition between individual to team-based working environments.

Dylan Bloomfield

Project Planner

Meet Dylan, our Project Planner who’s picking up the art of project planning and program interrogation extremely quickly. He has the ability to interrogate logic, develop 4d models, as well as develop detailed programs from scratch is positioning him to be one of our prized planners in the near future.

He’s currently finishing off his Bachelors in Construction Management and Economics and is up for any challenge thrown his way.

Chris Smith

Project Engineer

Meet Chris, one of our Project Engineers at Consilium. He is a highly motivated, detail-oriented, ambitious & competent engineer, passionate about applying theory to practice with a genuine desire to further his experience throughout Western Australia.

With a comprehensive understanding of design processes, manufacturing processes and installation methods, Chris has a good team spirit, with a deadline orientated mindset, while also having the ability to produce detailed execution documents from client requirements.

Chris holds experience in all design stages of a project, including research, development and manufacture, right through installation & final commissioning. Throughout these processes, key skills used daily include problem solving, teamwork, organisational and technical report writing.

Tomas Tubert

Project Planner

Tommy has recently completed supporting a tier one mining client with project coordination in varying capacities. He has a diverse background, from agribusiness to commodities trading, however, has been further developing his passion of construction within Western Australia’s mining and infrastructure sector.

Tommy is self-motivated, always seeking to support the project and looking for new and improved ways to show efficiency. He is not afraid of a challenge, and is a good fit within any team, quickly able to adapt to different settings and working dynamics.

Julie is a highly skilled accomplished Project Engineer with a strong background in Civil Engineering and an impressive track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects.

She possess extensive qualifications and certifications which adequately suit the engineering industry, as well as hands-on experience in managing diverse projects across different regions.

Gonzalo Marambio

Project Engineer

Meet Gonzalo, our seasoned Project Engineer with over a decade of experience in construction, including datacenters, industrial and retail projects, urbanisation, and real estate development. He is comfortable in all aspects of project delivery, including project coordination, cost control, contract administration as well as planning.

His leadership and strong communication skills with stakeholders have been crucial to succeed in different environments and challenging situations during his career.

Ben Towers-Hammond

Senior Cost Controller

Meet Ben, who recently joined Consilium as our Cost Controller.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, Ben is a detail-oriented and results-focused financial professional. His most significant areas of expertise include industry analysis, corporate finance, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A), being successful at supporting various projects from a diverse array of clients – ranging from Rio Tinto to Australia Red Cross Lifeblood.

He portrays a strategic mindset, and commitment to excellence in driving financial success to any project/organisation he works for. He is keen on contributing to any team he joins as well as deliver impactful results.

Victoria Hormazábal

Office Administrator

Victoria is our Office Manager, she has a wealth of international experience and not only looks after the day to day operation, she also manages our recruitment, onboarding, accounts and general good times.
